Q1: How is NuVa different from conventional elevators?

A: Conventional home elevators require a pre-planned space and are usually installed only in new homes and during renovation of existing homes. NuVa does not require a pre-planned space and can be installed in existing homes easily.

Q2: Once I install an elevator, can I remove the stairs in my house?

A: No. Even if you own a home elevator, stairs are still an important facility. During a fire or earthquake, elevators should not be used. Therefore, stairs will always be a crucial part of the home.

Q3: What happens when there is a power outage?

A: In the event of power loss, the NuVa passenger cabin returns slowly to the first floor. It does not stop midway like conventional elevators.

Q4: How much time does an installation require?

A: Installation of a conventional elevator requires about five days. Because NuVa requires less construction work, it can be installed in about 6 hours.
